This is the first blog post of the Laurel Academy for Spirited Boys and Their Uncooperative Parents. Here we will chronicle our days of fun and learning. About Laurel Academy The Laurel Academy is a registered family-based homeschool in the tiny but definitely first state of Delaware. The school was established in February 2017 after three-quarters of our family was perfunctorily excised from the small, private, hippie school that we had considered part of our extended family since 2013. I'm not sure why I feel the need to protect their identity, but it seems classier than flashing their name all over this blog. And this way I'll feel more free to shoot off about how I have come to despise them and how little I think of their educational and especially organizational practices.
